Improving Our School :D

Hi all, I'm back. Remember last week Mrs Nam said about the loss of bags during CCA time? That's because the owner of the bag does not even care for their bags. If they care for their bags, they should not just throw their bag there and go to play. Anyway, Mrs Nam had already ask all CCA leader to come up with suggestions to solve the problem. Although not all of us are CCA leaders, we also can do our part by helping them to look out and report to the Genaral office. Ya, and one thing I almost forgotten to tell you. If you see bags anywhere that is not supposed to put bags, please bring it to Genaral office. Thank you!!!

THE END!

**Healthy Eating**

Hi all. Today I'm going to talk about Healthy Eating. What is healthy eating? Obviously, it is eating healthily. However, some people don't eat healthily. But good thing, the vice-principal had held a event called 'Fruittie Veggie Bites'. Okay, umm, the rules are like this. If you order fruits and ask for more fruits, you will get one card. And if you order something and ask for more veg, you will also get one card. If your class have collected forty cards, in exchange, you will get a big card. By the end of May, we will see how many cards each class collected. The class with the most cards will win a prize each. Now, no one dare to eat unhealthily. Oh, I'm getting so excited!!!

**Earth Day**

Hi folks, I'm back. Today I'm going to talk about the history of **Earth Day**.
In the beginning....
In 1963, former Senator Gaylord Nelson began to worry about our planet. (A senator is a person that the people of the United States have chosen to help make the laws.) Senator Nelson knew that our world was getting dirty and that many of our plants and animals were dying.
He wondered why more people weren't trying to solve these problems. He talked to other lawmakers and to the President. They decided that the President would go around the country and tell people about these concerns. He did, but still not enough people were working on the problem.
The Idea
Then, in 1969, Senator Nelson had another idea. He decided to have a special day to teach everyone about the things that needed changing in our environment. He wrote letters to all of the colleges and put a special article in Scholastic Magazine to tell them about the special day he had planned. (Most of the schools got this magazine and he knew that kids would help him.)
The Holiday
On April 22, 1970, the first Earth Day was held. People all over the country made promises to help the environment. Everyone got involved and since then, Earth Day has spread all over the planet.
People over the world know that there are problems we need to work on and this is our special day to look at the planet and see what needs changing. Isn't it great?
After this story, what are you going to do DEPENDS ON YOU!!!

**Fire Safety**

Fire is useful to our daily needs, most of our family use fire to cook our food and boil our drinking water. And people who live in cold country like Switzerland use fire to keep them warm all the time. However, fire is also dangerous if it is not attended properly, just like children who get burnt when they play with matches and candles when they are not careful.

Recently, forest fire happened at Australia, Sydney. A lot of them lost their homes and some lost their love ones because of the disaster. From the news, the forest fire believed to be deliberately lit. I feel sad about this and do not wish to see such incident happen to anyone of us.

Fire can be useful and harmful. Let's learn about fire safety so that fire accident do not happen to anyone of us.
